Carbofast X - Seeker X -Tend Hydro Extender

The Carbofast X - Seeker X-TEND Hydraulic Extender is an aluminium tube with a spring-loaded piston carrying a calculated weight. The tube is filled with hydraulic oil and sealed. The X-TEND can be used on both recurve and compound bows.

The Carbofast X-TEND is designed specifically to absorb shockwave energy, which is transferred to the bow when the arrow is loosed.

During the loose the greater part of the energy is transferred from the limbs to the string, into the arrow. The energy calculation from our tests at Carbofast show the average bow is 75% efficient. The remaining energy is dissipated as noise, vibration and movement and is absorbed by both equipment and archer.

To achieve stable arrow flight, bow movement must be at a minimum. By using the X-TEND a large part of the remaining energy can be absorbed.

From our tests the X-Tend absorbs more of the shock than the actual stabiliser.

Carbofast's X-TEND Hydraulic Extender is 4.5" (115mm) long and 1" (25mm) in diameter.
