Target Sights

ImageOctober 1999 marks the year that target sight technology was changed forever. Copper John introduced the A.N.T.S., Always Normal Target Sight. The revolutionary idea behind this new aiming technology is the curved sight frame. This curved frame keeps the lens of your scope flat, or Normal to your eye as the scope is moved up and down the frame. This cuts down on image distortion, increases scope clarity, and keeps the scope reticle normal to your plane of aim. You will always have the same sight picture regardless of the scope’s position on the frame.

Fig 1: With an A.N.T.S. Target Sight, no matter the distance you are shooting or the scope’s position on the frame, the lens is always normal to your line of sight. You will get peak performance out of your scope optics and greater accuracy because you can see better.

Fig 2: With a conventional sight, note what happens when you change your angle of aim for longer distances. The scope lens becomes askew to your line of sight causing image distortion, lens blurriness, and it changes your scope dots’ position relative to your line of sight.
