One of the most important precondition for successful shooting and good results is the exact definition of the spine value. It doesn`t matter if you talk about the high-performance sector of the technical archers or the traditional tournament scene; without the correct shaft important scores are lost.
This digital spine tester is the result of many years of experiences of the Bearpaw developers in the field of 3D shooting and technological development work. With this device we put a digital measuring method respecting exact tolerances into practice. The spine tester measures exactly the bending of the arrow shaft in the range of 1/100 mm and guarantees an exact definition of your arrow material.
Together with a German expert we (Bearpaw) developed the memory chip and the LED unit. The digital display indicates the exact analysis of the measurement both showing the unit lbs and optionally the exact spine value, directly and digitally on the display of the device. It is not necessary to convert the values once again by using tables.
The unit is powered by a 9V battery - the Varta 9V High Energy is recommended as the battery needs to weigh 48g as its weight is calculated in the workings of the unit.
