**Now over 1400 risers sold worldwide, quite a considerable achievement in such a short time**

The bow is of a unique patented construction and it's strength has been tested and certified well beyond the stresses expected when shooting the bow.

The FiberBow is totally unique in that it is a quality tournament riser constructed out of carbon fibre with no internal bolstering and it is not just made out of carbon fibre because it might be flavour of the month, it really does shoot and feel different.  Weighing in at just under 600grams (at least half the weight of most quality metal risers and still 590grams lighter than the Win & Win Inno) it is very light in the hand, yet the new unibonding and layered carbon construction makes it very strong.

The lack of dead weight also provides more options with regards to stabiliser balance, feel and most importantly bow control even on very windy days - contrary to what some would like you to believe.

The FiberBow is also a good option for archers who find (or do not realise) that the weight of a conventional risers is hampering their archery or causing physical problems with their bow shoulder.

Arrow rests: Most popular stick on rests will fit with the exception of the Beiter rest as the base is too deep, we suggest the Spiga ZT stick on, ARE 105 or the Cartel Flipper but if you are unsure please ask. Currently there is not a wrap round magnetic rest that fits.

The handle has international fit limb pockets which are adjustable for weight and tiller.

The structure

The FiberBow 5.99 is manufactured using Full Total Carbon. The hollow tubular carbon structure is manufactured using unidirectional layers of carbon fibre to their best advantage. The carbon fibre is intrinsic to the design and is not just an outer skin covering an internal structure, which allows FiberBow to produce a strong, light, efficient and good-looking riser.

Vibration dispersion & greater accuracy

On a bow, the vibrations produced by the limbs propagate to the riser and then to the stabilisation. If by design these vibrations are also dispersed and dampened through the riser the result is a very quiet shot. It also means that less energy is dispersed in sound, that is, more energy goes in the arrow’s speed! Tests have shown that you may get up to 3-4% more arrow speed compared to a CNC riser.

After the shot, you always have a period of time where the entire bow vibrates, even if it is well stabilised and dampened. By using carbon fibres this period of vibration is surprisingly short reducing the need for over dampening of the stabilisation.

When using conventional riser materials such as aluminium it has been found that a heavier draw weight requires more stabilisation which means longer rods more weight and dampening. For many archers this results in a bow that cannot be fully stabilised because the optimum weight and overall length of the system is too much for the archer.

With a lighter riser, which also reduces vibrations, the archer has more options when it comes to stabilisation by being able to place less weight and dampening where it works best.

At this point it is important to stress that here we are talking about a light bow not an unstable bow. Only the total weight of the bow is reduced not the stability, in fact by allowing weight to be removed from the stabilisation the bows stability is improved. For many archers the biggest benefit seen by the reducing the weight and stresses on the bow arm, is that the archer can focus more on the shot rather than trying to keep the bow arm up and extended. Resulting better control of the shot, less physical fatigue towards the end of a tournament or days shooting and greater accuracy.

Recent tournament sucesses:

2 -10th October Oscar De Pellegrin 1st postion in the FITA (1253) and 3rd in the Head to Heads at the Cheongji 2007 IPC Archery World Championships Cheonig Korea.

Mauro Nespoli won the team gold medal for Italy at the 2007 FITA World Cup event in Dover, England.

Mauro Nespoli Scores 1356 (Gents FITA) shooting his FiberBow at the Meteksan World Cup (Stage 2) in Varese Italy and finishes 4th overall in the H2H's.

I am new to archery and had a Hoyt Eclipse riser which I found I could use, but on trying the new FibreBow 5.99 I was so pleased with my improved preformance that I have given my Eclipse riser to my grandson. My grandson has also got his eyes on my new riser as well, he should be so lucky.

I injured my left arm last year and was having problems lifting my conventional bow and holding it steady. My form had plummeted. I felt this was going to be the solution. Nothing happened at first because the bow feels very different. It took a long time (several months) of perseverance but it's done the trick! My handicap has reduced for the first time in ages and I've shot PBs at nearly all indoor rounds this winter. Can't wait to get outside again.
