We are pleased to say that we are now stocking the Whitetail Competition bosses again
For a few years now these have been our favorite bosses, they have been used on the world stage specifically at the Olympics and other high profile national and international events.
We agree these are expensive compared to coiled straw but these days 4 archers can be shooting arrows to the value of £400-£500 per end, surely we should not continue to use C19th technology to stop C21st shafts.
A number of clubs in the UK have been using these over the past 2-3 years both for outdoor rounds (recurve and compounds) and indoors(mainly for compounds) and all the feed back has all been extremely positive.
Derek and Andrew have also been pounding the centre of one of these targets at 70m for the past 18 months, it captures their X10's safely and there are no signs of carbon wear unlike with more abrasive materials.
The boss is 52 inches in diameter and 9 inches thick. The 24" Velocicore center which is expected to get most of the use is state of the art in arrow stopping and arrow removal. That's not to say the outside is state of the art too and also offers superior performance to all of the competition.
These bosses will fit on a standard 3 or 4 leg stand with only a minor alteration of length to the feet that hold the target (they are about twice the thickness of a coiled straw boss but twice as light).
