Why are some of our online prices different to those in our Pro shops?
The online shop is operated as a separate department and run by staff who only help out in the Braintree Shop during very busy times, to be successful the online service relies on high turnover and a quick turnaround of goods, it is primarily a service for those archers who know exactly what they need, can wait a few days for it to be delivered, do not need to visit a shop, try, handle or view equipment to make the right choice and do not require any help from experienced sales staff.
At our convenience Internet orders are collated, checked and in some cases items are made, safely packaged and the payment is processed and the goods sent out quickly using the fastest and most economical service.
It is true that Online you do get: First class products, excellent prices and a fast efficient service. But if you are unsure of the item(s) you require then a visit to one of our shops should be on your agenda because getting it right 1st time will make for a far greater saving than any difference in the online price and more cost effective in time and money than buying an item 2 or 3 times before finding the right one.
It is also true that our in store prices are competitive, generally better or on a par with our UK competitors in store prices .
When buying online as opposed to visiting one of our shops.
- You do not have the opportunity to talk to us face to face and draw upon over 120 years of combined archery experience and the piece of mind that answers to all of your questions have been fully explained and sometimes demonstrated.
- You do all the research.
- You choose the specification of the item(s) you require: Riser & Limbs (RH LH, length, limb weight), Compounds (draw length peek weight) Arrows (spine & length), String (strands & type) Stabiliser set up, correct Button, Arrow rest, Clicker Tab, Quiver, Chest-guard Bow stand etc.
- You decide on the brand, size & colour.
- You type in and provide us with all the payment and delivery details.
- You are not able to try/shoot expensive items to find out which one suits you best.
- You cannot spend time browsing or handling items in our fully stocked shops to help you decide and then take them home with you there and then.
- You do not benefit from us setting up your new purchase and fitting accessories as even a peep sight might be a problem if you do not have access to a bow press; It is delivered to you ready to be set up.
- When buying a bow or complete set up you do not benefit from the knowledge that as soon as you get home you can shoot your new bow and not have to worry about setting it up.
- You cannot take advantage of our unique carbon arrow selection by trial service.
- You have no opportunity to test equipment combinations or use our unique carbon arrow selection service so you do not benefit from useful help, advice and tips on your shooting form and current bow set-up which do affect the selection process.
You do get: First class products, excellent prices and a fast efficient service, after all that's what buying online is all about.
